Who Are We?

Karen Carmines received her BS from Virginia Tech in 1976. She has been in the pharmaceutical industry since 1981. She has done data management, case report form design, database design and programming,and clinical monitoring. She has experience in Phase II through Phase IV studies across multi-therapeutic areas both domestic and internationally. She has worked for pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations (CROs). Karen has demonstrated her ability to deliver quality work on time. She is detailed oriented with excellent organizational, planning, documentation, written and oral communication skills. She has been an independent clinical research associate for over fifteen years. Ed Carmines  received his BS in 1976 and PhD in pharmacology/toxicology in 1980. He interned at a contract toxicology lab and then joined a pharmaceutical company as a study director. He has also worked developing and testing agricultural and veterinary products. He has extensive experience with EPA and FDA regulated products. He has managed quality assurance units, analytical laboratories, and product development and also directed regulatory affairs. He has conducted all types of animal and environmental toxicology studies. He specializes in reproduction and inhalation exposure. He has demonstrated the ability to manage multi-million dollar programs bringing the projects in on time and under budget. Ed retired from Philip Morris USA in 2009 and joined Karen in her consulting business.  (Ed's Resume)
